Year 9 Drama students were rewarded for extra effort in drama with a visit by professional stuntman Mark Ruddick from Squire Theatre
Mark has spent time this year working as a stuntman on Merlin, among other productions, and he taught students new stage fighting skills in additions to armed stage combat, making fake blood and creating explosions using compressed air.
This is the second visit Mark has made to the school and he was again impressed by the students who took part in the workshop.
Miss Hall said: “What is is so great about this workshop is that the content covers all aspects of the school curriculum, including Science, PE, Maths, Technology and obviously a pinch of Drama. Students found the experience really rewarding, our Year 8s are already looking forward to next year’s workshop!”
