Four Year 9 students who have been selected to join this year’s Junior Athlete Education Programme received their hoodies on 14th January.
JAE is a talent support programme for school sport partnerships which enables Gifted and Talented students to balance the demands of education and sport. The workshops cover all aspects of lifestyle management, target-setting and planning to enable young people to manage their time and reach their goals.
Shannon, Lucy, Tom and Omar will work with students from other schools, including Poltair, Bodmin College, The Roseland, Treviglas and Tretherras.
All the students taking part will work with sports professionals and have access to the best sports facilities in the county.
