Hall Walk conservation work

Mr Hill and Group of Gifted and Talented pupils from Years 7 and 9 took part in a day of conservation work at Hall Walk, focusing on the stretch near Polruan on 4th February.

This was an opportunity for students to not only learn about conservation, but also to get a hands-on perspective of what is involved in conservation work on footpath repairs, coppicing and habitat protection.

The day was organised with our local National Trust team and the Fowey Harbour Commission, both of whom have a keen interest in ensuring our estuary and its surrounding woods and natural habitat for wildlife are well-maintained.
