We celebrated Red Nose Day on Friday with a series of fundraisers.
Our Year 7 students, Maia, Carla, Jessica and Shauna organised a raffle over the last fortnight to win a scarf, which Maya’s mum has knitted as a prize. The girls have raised £17.00 by selling tickets at lunch and break times, and Mr Perry announced the winner in the Year 7 assembly on Tuesday 12th March.
In addition, Maia has created 10 scarves in a range of fabrics and designs which are sale for a basic price of £3.00 with donations above.
Talia and Leah organised a catwalk for Red Nose Day featuring 12 teachers and support staff. This was held in the Hall at lunchtime on Thursday 14th March and raised £14.00 for Red Nose Day.
Finally, the amazing cake sale held at breaktime on the revolving platform on Friday and organised by our four enterprising Year 8 students raised over £40.00. It was one of our best ever cake sales and the girls did a fantastic job baking cakes which proved very popular and disappeared within 10 minutes!
