Our annual Year 10 BTEC Camp with Cornwall College and Nine Ashes Camp made the most of the milder spring weather this week.

Seventy Fowey students arrived at school after Easter with their backpacks all set for three days of activities which form part of their BTEC PE qualification.

Highlights of the trip were the walk to Wadebridge via the Camel Trail with fish & chips, and the night games in the woods. Students took part in a range of activities including climbing, abseiling, mountain biking, orienteering, ‘the crate stack’, tubing and low ropes.

Mr Hayward commented on how well our students represented the school. “The camp was extremely successful and enjoyable for all,” he said. “The feedback we got from the Cornwall College staff was the best and most positive we have received from any of the camps we have run with them to date.”

Mr Hayward would like to thank all those staff and students who supported the camp and made it such a positive event.  Well done to all those who took part.
