GCSE Art

This term we were invited to take part in an exciting project in the centre of Fowey.

The Old Post Office is being converted into a residential dwelling over the next 12 months, and owners Mr and Mrs Hards contacted the school with a brief to paint seven large panels to adorn the wall around the building site. The couple dropped into school in the last week of term to see how the work was progressing (main picture with Mr Walker and Shannon-Mae).

Our Year 10s took on the project under the guidance of Mr Walker, and created a series of single-colour scenes featuring images from Fowey and the surrounding area.

We’re really proud of the work and we would like to congratulate our Year 10 girls on their dedication, commitment and flair.

The panels will go up on 20th December.
