After many weeks of auditions and semi-finals, the final night of FGT 2015 was another sell out event! Acts varied from singing to a diablo performance with many other interesting acts.  Our judges really had a tough time trying to decide on the winners this year, but Tim Renwick (who has played over 300 Pink Floyd gigs) and Ruth Finlay (Mayor of Fowey) finally decided on who would win the cash: 1st place – “Not my Jam”, consisting of Hannah, Cora, Mabel, Taliah & Millie performing their own version of Dreams by Imagine Dragons, 2nd place – Lydia (voice) singing Sally by Gracie Fields and 3rd place – Lilly who danced to Brother by Matt Corby.  With an audience of over 180 and over 50 pupils involved in total, FGT 2015 was certainly a night to remember!  Miss Giles, Head of Expressive Arts said “I’m absolutely delighted with how the evening went, the pupils at Fowey are so talented and I felt very proud of the way they performed in front of the audience and our very high profile judges!  What a fantastic way to end (well, nearly end) the school.
